The "Honda" O2 sensor isn't a Honda!!! You will find alot of those sensors are made by the same 4 companies, who source to every OEM in the world.

I finally have time to install the J&S tomorrow. Should I just use the stock knock sensor, instead of the provided J&S unit? The only knock sensor location will be home to the SC support bracket later. What do you guys think? BTW, I know the instll is straight-forward, but do you have any install hints?

I saw in the "code's" section of my teg manual there is a trouble code that would be set by disconnecting the stock sensor from the ECU.
I'm also not sure if all sensors have the same output and send compatible signals and/or if the J&S is programmed for the specific sensor's parameters that came with it.
The stock Knock sensor is also tapped into the coolant passage which could use a differnt sensor with different output readings.
If it works if you (or anyone) tries it let us know. It would seem Honda put it there for a reason.
I thought the J&S units had to be setup to use the stock knock sensor. And I also thought that the idea of using the stock knock sensor came up a while ago, but nothing was ever done to make it work. So has someone heard for sure that you can use the stock knock sensor with a J&S ??

I'm not disconnecting the wire to the ECU, but rather "teeing" into it. I wonder if this will have a loading effect, Rjaffey?
Holden: Its not a digicam but a Sony digital video camcorder that took the pictures, and I then uploaded it into the port of an intel web cam.
